Before the show we went to dinner at CiCi's Pizza. If there was a night that we were going to share winning the Mother of the Year award, this was it. Antonio was absolutely crazy and screamed and climbed out of his highchair most of the meal. It all started because they have a gumball machine. Darn those gumball machines. Antonio believes he must have a trinket or a gumball the second he sees one. Not sure where he got that idea from....do you Papa? Then to follow up my crazy child's antics, Presley kicked her shoes off during the meal. When the kids went to play in the game room we noticed the Presley was running through CiCi's barefoot. Luckily we were at the one on south Seneca so we fit right in!
After that fiasco, I would have liked to have thrown in the towel, but we had to persevere. Walking our crazy kids from our far parking spot and into the arena was a task. Then we had to kill all the extra time we had before the show started.
Luckily Cassie bought a cotton candy and we all had fun dressing up in the alien hat that came with it.
It was a great idea to get the kids all sugared up and then make them sit still for two hours.
The kids did really enjoy the show.
The show went on about thirty minutes longer than I think it should have. Plus it started too late and went way past bedtime. We made it through, but by the end of the night Presley no longer wanted to marry Antonio. She just wanted him to leave her alone.
