Chuck E. Cheese

The day before school started, I wanted to have one last summer hurrah so I took Antonio to Chuck E. Cheese. We invited Halie and Grandma to come along too.

He had fun riding all the rides.

He wasn't too interested in stopping to eat pizza. He wanted to play!

He loved seeing Chuck E. Cheese and got up while eating a few times to go see the scary Chuck E. Cheese characters on the stage.

He was big enough to play a few of the ticket games, not that he won very many. Luckily, they let you pay a penny a ticket to upgrade your price. For a few bucks and all the tickets that Antonio and Halie got, I was able to buy them both a cool green ball. Then to seal my Aunt of the Year prize, I bought Halie a cotton candy out of the machine that makes it right before your eyes.

It was such a fun day! I really miss my little man now that I'm back to school!

Pump it Up

I bought a Groupon back in the spring for us to go to Pump it Up and completely forgot about it! At the beginning of August, we finally used it to take Crystal's daughters, Paityn and Jordyn with us. The kids had a blast!

Antonio loves to bounce around so he really enjoyed the bounce houses.

This slide was such a pain to get Antonio to the top, but he loved it so much. He wanted to go on it again and again. It was honestly the scariest slide I've ever been on. It went sooooo fast. And the last time I went down my arm rubbed against the wall and gave me a burn that really hurt.

Antonio asked to go out and get a drink. I never would have let him if I knew what it would start. He spent the rest of the time there wanting to go out and use the drinking fountain. Next time I'll just take him to the mall and let him play with the drinking fountain for two hours. That would be cheaper!

It wouldn't be an outing without Antonio throwing a fit. He got really embarassing towards the end and we had to get the heck out of dodge!

Afterwards we went to Carlos O'Kellys. I had a major Carlos addiction for awhile. I went about 6 times in 3 weeks. This was the second day in a row. It's just such an easy place to go because Antonio loves the chips and salsa and he will sit quietly and eat it for a long time.

Swimming

This summer we did a lot of swimming at Grandma and Grandpa's. My friend, Liz, had pretty much the same schedule as me and came to hang out often. Sometimes she would bring cute baby Carmen! So fun! A few times Janelle joined us too.

Antonio learned how to swim really well with his floaties this summer. He would jump off the side in to my arms and swim across the pool.
