Too Stinking Cute!

I know I'm a couple months behind on updating this, and I definitely plan to get it caught up, but I can't wait any longer to post about how cute Antonio is getting. I don't want to forget these moments before I get them written down. So here are a couple of recent stories about Antonio...

-Tonight when Antonio got home from his dad's we were playing in the living room for a few minutes before he needed to go to bed. He had his Pooh doll and I told him to let me hug Pooh. He gave Pooh to me and I said, "Awwww, Pooh." Then Antonio hugged Pooh and said, "Awww, Pooh." He made the most adorable face and just kept hugging Pooh and saying it over and over. It was kind of a sad face like poor little Pooh bear just needed a hug.

-This morning, my mom told me that when Antonio woke up he was just laying in bed for awhile saying Mama, MaaaMaaaa, Mama. My boy missed me after being gone all weekend!

-When I put Antonio to bed, we have a ritual. We read several books and then end with Bedtime for Baby Bop. Then I put him in bed and cover him with his Texas blankie. Then I lay No-No bear by him and cover him with the Football taggie blanket. Then I put one of his Mickey Mouse quilts over both of them. Then I always say, "Kisses for No-No" and kiss my hand and put it on No-No. Then it's "Kisses for Tonio." Then I say kisses for Mama and Antonio puts his hand up for me to kiss. He just started doing that one day. I love it. Bedtime is my favorite!

-Adding on to the bedtime story, Antonio has started trying to avoid going to bed. He'll get down while we are reading books and try to peek out in to the hall. Then he runs back and jumps on the foot stool. A couple times he started crying when it was time to get in the crib. I got him back on track now, by playing peekaboo. After we give our kisses, I put his quilt over his head and play peekaboo. I do it about five times and he just giggles like crazy. So much fun!

-Antonio has started talking in sentences. Yesterday he said Mama nack. Nack=snack. He also loves to say Where'd go? When he says it, he has a confused look on his face and holds his hands out. He had said, Where'd dog go, where'd pooh go, and where'd blankie go.

I love how he adds new things each day. It's so amazing to me!

Cookie baking with Ella!

One day over Christmas break, we had Ella and Sky over to make cookies. This was not the best idea I ever had, but they enjoyed it even if it stressed me out! I don't deal well with messes!

Why put it on the cookie, when we can put it in our mouth?

He went a little crazy with the sprinkles.

May Family Christmas

The week before Christmas, we celebrated Christmas with the May family. Antonio had a great time because I told my dad to bring his karaoke machine. I never knew Antonio was such a dancer until that day!

His Great Auntie Barbara inspired him to dance by doing the worm.

After that performance, he had to get out there and shake it!

Every time I turned around, Antonio was signing "more" to someone, trying to get them to give him food! That boy probably ate 25 chocolate covered pretzels that day!

Doesn't he look so innocent?

Antonio was pretty excited that his cousins, Emily and Dawson, brought not one but two puppies with them!

See you next year May Family!

Too handsome!

I just love his little hair when I have it spiked up!
