Gingerbread House

We did a lot of fun stuff for the Christmas season this year. We went and saw the lights several times, made chocolate covered pretzels, and even made a gingerbread house!

Hard at work!

Mouthful of candy! I spent most of the time trying to keep him from eating all of the decorations!

Birthday Party for Jesus!

Kid's Day Inn hosted a birthday party for Jesus a few weeks ago. Antonio had a great time showing Mama all of the fun things he does at school!

He really likes the bean table! He kept saying, "Mama, play with me!"

He played with the magnetic Christmas set for a little bit. When he got frustrated he threw the magnets. That boy has such a temper!

Photobucket

Circle time was a little embarrassing! Antonio kept insisting that Mama sit with him. I wasn't sure if I should do it or not, but I decided I'd rather be the only parent on the carpet than to be the only parent whose child is having a meltdown.

Singing Happy Birthday to Jesus and blowing out the candle.

Seeing him at his little table with his hands behind his back brings tears to my eyes. He is just getting too big!

Yummy treats!

Mouthful of grapes! This kid has to eat like five at a time of whatever he's having.

Jesus is the reason for the season! Happy Birthday Jesus!

Pancakes with Santa

I signed up for this awesome website at Kids Fest. It has listings of all the kids events that go on each week. Check it out! They have other cities and states as well. http://westwichita.macaronikid.com/#axzz1hav2D1Ck That is where I found out about Breakfast with Santa at Towne East.

We signed up for Simon Kidgits and got our pancake and sausage grub on. We got to meet Santa and make some fun Christmas crafts as well!

While we were at the mall, I bought each of the kids a Build a Bear. They were really cute while making their new little friends.

I swear they could have stayed at this station and "bathed" their bears all day.

Baby Ruby got in to the Christmas spirit with a Build a Bear Santa Hat.

I tried to have the kids get hats for their bears, but they weren't interested. I don't remember what Ella named her bear, but Antonio was very original and named his "Bear."

I love these two kiddos!

Kid's Fest 2011

Back in November we went to Kid's Fest with Sky and the girls. It was a great time!

Ruby was ready for some fun!

The kids loved the petting zoo!

Of course we had to let them ride the ponies!

On to the bounce house!

Photobucket

They went crazy when they saw Dora through the bounce house window!

Antonio is like an old pro at getting pictures with characters. It's hard to get him to hug them. He just walks up, turns around, and says Cheese! I think that may be a sign of too many Disney trips!

I need to make them a rice table to play with. They loved this thing!

I was hoping for some hot firemen by the fire truck, but it was a letdown.
