I'm a little late on writing for your 3rd birthday! Life has gotten busy and I just haven't had as much time to sit and blog about you! Here are some things about you now that you are three...
-You started full time daycare/preschool. It's really different from being with Grandma all day. You are definitely adjusting. You've gotten in to trouble several times, and have even gotten two official write-ups for hitting. You're killing me!
-You still love dinosaurs and Dino Dan
-You love Spider Man and "shooting webs" with your hands.
-You love Buzz Lightyear and I'm pretty sure it's because he has a gun. You really like guns right now.
-In your bath each night you like to play with Evil Emperor Zurg and fight the other Toy Story characters which I have to hold so you can knock them out of my hands.
-You like to have 10 blankets on your bed and change your mind each night which one you want. Sometimes you change your mind several times a night. Currently the white fuzzy blanket and the blue soft and silky football blanket are your favorite. Tonight I gave you a blanket and you said it wasn't soft enough.
-Everytime you get something, you like to get two because "one is for Ella." This can be a snack, juice box, or a toy at McDonalds.
-You call McDonalds...Old McDonalds.
-You call Carlos O'Kellys....O'Kellys. You told me the other day, I'm hungry, lets go eat chips and salsa at O'Kellys.
-You love to have juice boxes and had one every time we went to Crystal's this summer. Pretty sure you were more excited to go there and have a juice box then you were to swim.
-You like to finger paint, but mostly so you can make a huge mess all over your hands (and arms and stomach if I'll let you!)
-You love Coco Pebbles and Apple Jacks
-You like to go to Papa's house so you can have a piece of gum
-If you are a good boy at school you get fruit snacks. If you are a bad boy, you don't get any treats, juice, or chocolate milk.
-You call milk...milky.
-You still love your Texas Blanket. You call it black blankie. You take it to school everyday for naptime.
-Your favorite book right now is Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. You like to whisper the Boom Boom instead of saying it loud with me.
-You love Stogey and always want to give him a bone.
-You're getting too big for your bike seat, but we still go for rides.
-You started soccer practice a few weeks ago and you are awesome! You run so fast! It might help that you are the oldest kid out there.
-You got addicted to the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch this summer and I had to stage an intervention! Now you don't get to play with them very often. For awhile you wanted me to buy you a new game everyday.
-You talk to Daddy on facetime every night, but you won't sit still for it.
-You are really struggling with sleeping in your own bed. You want to sleep with me every night. We are working on it right now. If you stay in your own bed you get a glow in the dark dinosaur to stick on your wall.
-You like to pick your own snack in the morning, and this makes us late a LOT!
-I miss hearing about your day from Grandma and getting pictures of you.
