Antonio got some awesome Superman pajamas!
When I saw them at Wal-Mart, I just had to buy them. My brother and I had the same pajamas when we were kids. I remember getting them from Christmas from our grandparents. I was sad that I didn't get the Superwoman ones and I remember my Grandma May saying that she was going to, but it had a skirt and she didn't want my legs to get cold. Good call Granny May!
Antonio's two best friends came over last week too! Jordyn and Ella came to our house to play, but then we decided to go to McDonalds instead.
The kids had a blast playing in the play place. Well, except Antonio. He got there and insisted he needed to get right in to a high chair. "I eat, I eat!" I told him it was only 10:45, but he didn't care. He wanted to eat right then! After he ate he did have fun climbing around for a little while. He sure loves Jordyn and Ella!
Yesterday, we went to the zoo. Antonio got to press a penny, feed the animals, get a special elephant sippy cup, and earn a dollar for being good at Carlos O'Kellys.
My little man!
After a nap we headed to Holly's for her birthday party. Antonio had so much fun playing with the kids. He even got to have a cupcake. All he did was eat all the icing and make a huge mess. I mistakenly let Antonio have a mint that night. Now Antonio thinks he needs an icebreaker mint every time he sees the case.
On the way home from the party we saw fireworks being shot over by our house so we pulled off the road and watched them. It was a fun night!
Janelle moved in with us last weekend and Antonio really likes having "Nell" and Stogey here. He always wants to feed Stogey a bone. Stogey has discovered that he can get a lot of extra snacks by following Antonio around. He drops food everywhere. Janelle isn't too happy about that! Tonight Janelle let Antonio help her make calazones for dinner. Antonio especially liked putting the "angila" on. Apparently angila is how he pronounces pepperoni!
After he finished his calazone, I let Antonio have a few skittles. He picked one up and said purple and he was right! I was so proud of him! He usually says every color is "gween."
Grandma and Grandpa called and asked us to go for a bike ride after dinner. We rode clear over to the new neighborhood and checked it out. Antonio is getting in a really bad habit of pushing me off the seat. He thinks he is really funny, but Mama doesn't think it's too funny at all.
When we got home from the bike ride Antonio's neighbor friends were outside. He said, "I go play with fwends!" I let him get his trike out and ride with them a little bit. This was a bad decision because he threw the fit to top all fits when it was time to go inside. That's what I get for letting him stay up past his bedtime for two nights in a row!
